Crete is in the centre of the Eastern Mediterranean at the crossroads of Africa, Asia and Europe. At 200km from east to west and between 12 and 58km from north to south, it is the fifth largest island in Europe.
We live in the Apokoronas province
of North West Crete, about 40 minutes from Chania’s Daskalogianni airport. Our nearest village is Kokkino Xorio (2.5km) where there is a shop and a taverna which are both open every day.
